2016

BLOCK launched in November 2016 with four prototypes (with support from T-Mobile’s FutureLab). Immediately, it got serious media coverage, proving to us the world is ready to break away from our phones. Let’s get our analogue and digital lives in a healthier balance.

The BLOCKs we've launched in 2016 came in four colours and were shot by the wonderful still photographer Bart Oomes...

2017

Based on numerous requests, we decided to increase BLOCK’s size to fit even the biggest smartphones. Our designer/co-founder Ernst Koning also tweaked the lid, improving the opening and closing. The new and improved BLOCK will be sold for €99 (exc. shipping) starting at the end of October 2018.
